Summer CLINICS

SUMMER REGISTRATION COMING SOON

Welcome to the 2025 Summer Hockey Clinic Registration with WYHA. Information on all the summer clinics is below. All sessions are at Plymouth Ice Center. The Summer Clinics offer a comprehensive and systematic plan for the development of the participant’s technical, tactical, and physical hockey skills.

Mites/U8 and Squirt sessions are 2 x per week for 9 weeks with exception to JUNE 19th for a total of 17 sessions.

Girls U10, U12, Peewee, and Bantam sessions are 2 x per week for 9 weeks for a total of 18 sessions.

Boys High School / Sophomore STP and Girls High School STP program are at 3 x per week for 6 weeks.

There are no on-ice sessions on June 19th, and the week of June 30 – July 4.

Registrations are accepted for players outside of WYHA for all sessions EXCEPT the Boys and Girls High School STP.

Evening Mites (Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced)

The Evening mite program places an emphasis on skill development and lots of fun! Note: To ensure maximum schedule flexibility for all parents of Mite hockey players, all Mite sessions are open to both boys and girls.

Note: ALL SESSIONS ARE AT PLYMOUTH ICE CENTER.

10 weeks (One time per week)

Dates: June 9, 16, 23, 30 July 7, 14, 21, 28, August 4, 11(Monday nights)

How Often: Ten - 45 Minute Sessions

Session 1: Beginner Mites • Time: 5:30-6:15 PM

Session 2: Intermediate/Advanced Mites • Time: 6:30-7:15 PM

Cost: $195

Summer Mite and Squirt Summer Hockey

MITES: This program places an emphasis on skill development, learning the fundamentals, and having fun. On-Ice Training includes: the fundamentals of skating, puckhandling, passing and receiving, shooting and fun games. Mite sessions are open to both boys and girls.

SQUIRT: The Squirt SDP offers great instruction and lots of und. Emphasis is on conditioning, skill development and speed, with and without the puck. As part of the program scrimmages in a controlled environment will enable the players to apply the skills learned in game situations.

9 weeks / 17 hours (1 hour, two times per week)

Dates: June 10, 12, 17, 24, 26, July 8, 10, 15, 17, 22, 24, 29, 31, August 5, 7, 12, 14 (Tuesdays and Thursdays)
No sessions June 19, and the week of June 30-July 4.

Mites: 8:30-9:30AM

Squirts: 9:45-10:45AM

Cost: $450 ($25 discount if registered before 3/1/2025)

Peewee and Bantam STP

The training program offers a comprehensive and systematic plan for the development of the participant's technical, tactical, and physical hockey skills.

GOALS:

To accelerate year round progress in individual skills development, hockey specific athleticism, team tactical skills, and competitive skills.
To provide on-ice practice and challenging competition.

9 weeks / 18 hours (1 hour, two times per week)

Dates: June 9, 11, 16, 18, 23, 25, July 7, 9, 14, 16, 21, 23, 28, 30, August 4, 6, 11, 13 (Mondays and Wednesdays)

No sessions the week of June 30-July 4

Peewees: 8:30-9:30AM

Bantams: 9:45-10:45AM

Cost: $475 ($25 discount if registered before 3/1/2025)

To provide on-ice practice and challenging competition.

Wayzata Girls HS STP Program

STP offers a comprehensive and systematic plan for the development of the participant's technical, tactical, and physical hockey skills. The HS STP Program is for returning players and incoming sophomores and/or second year U15.

7 weeks / 21.5 hours (skate three times per week)

Dates:

June 9, 11, 13, 16, 18, 20, 23, 25 27 July 7, 9, 11, 14, 16, 18, 21, 23, 25, 28, 30

NOTE: No ice the week of June 30-July 4

Times:

Mon. and Wed.:
Group A: 7:30-8:30am (M/W)

Group B: 8:45-9:45am (M/W)

(Players will be grouped by the coach and assigned a time)

Friday:

Both Groups: 8:30-9:45am

Cost: $595 ($25 discount if registered before 3/1/2025)

Wayzata Boys STP Program

GOALS:

To accelerate year round progress in individual skill development, hockey specific athleticism, team tactical skills, and competitive skills.
To provide the highest quality curriculum and instruction.
To provide on-ice challenging competition, supported by education, motivation, testing, measurement, and evaluation.

7 weeks (skate three times per week)

Dates: June 9 - 12, 16 - 18, 23 - 26, July 7 - 10, 14 - 17, 21 - 23

(players will skate 3 out of the 4 dates per schedule sent by the Coaches)

No Ice June 19 and the week of June 30 -July 4

Times: 11:00-12:00PM (Mondays - Thursdays)

12:15 - 1:15PM (Mondays - Thursdays)

Cost: $595 ($25 discount if registered before 3/1/2025)
