2010 Squirt Fall Preseason Training Camp 

This clinic is designed to prepare the player for the Fall tryouts. All Sessions include 45 minutes of drills and 45 minutes of scrimmaging.

ON-ICE TRAINING (9 Hours):  On-ice training begins Monday, October 4.  All on-ice sessions are at Plymouth Ice Center.

Dates:  October 4, 6, 11, 13, 18, 20

How Often:  Monday/Wednesday for three weeks.

Cost:   $135 (Six – 1 ½-hour on-ice sessions) 

           NOTE: Goalie cost - $45 (full-time goalie only)

        Session 1 — 5:45-7:15pm 

        Session 2 — 7:30-9:00pm

Clinic Notes:

There is NO SWITCHING between sessions.  If you sign up for session 1, you attend session 1, etc.  If you have a conflict for a particular session, you talk to the instructor at the session prior to the conflict.  He will let you know if you can make it up in another session.

There is a $25 assessment fee for cancellations prior to September 1.  NO REFUNDS after September 1, unless clinic is full.  Participants are required to wear all protective equipment recommended by USA Hockey to all on-ice sessions.  Dry-land apparel - t-shirt, shorts or sweats, and athletic shoes.

Optional Dry-land through Acceleration:  Wayzata Hockey has partnered with Acceleration Northwest to complement the on-ice training. 

  • 1 month Hockey Pass - TBD

This Pass gives you unlimited access to all Acceleration has to offer - Skating Treadmill, Running Treadmill, RapidShot, Weight Training, Plyometrics, Pre & Post Testing, Personalized Programs, Experienced Trainers, etc.  Ideal for the hockey athlete.   • 8 Pack Skating sessions - TBD

Skating Treadmill - Up to 6 athletes will spend 1 hour with an Acceleration trainer to develop ideal skating mechanics that emphasize power, efficiency and speed. Skating bouts will replicate the intensity and fatigue levels achieved in game situations in order to develop the skater's aerobic and anaerobic thresholds.

(Discounted rates are available to players who register for the on-ice program, otherwise regular rates apply.)
