Philosophy to hockey players:
The teams we have been involved with who have
had the most hockey successes, are those that had caring, flexible attitudes,
with "A BIG TEAM, LITTLE ME," philosophy. Those teams meet every problem,
circumstance, and challenge with unyielding
positive attitudes, and strong,
responsible player leaders.
Each player must be willing to play the
assigned role they are given. Remember a good team is one that trusts that each
guy
on the ice will do his job. TRUST is built by having guys who not sometimes
do their jobs, but always do their jobs.
And to do a good job, remember:
#1 - You are a good student first. If you are
lazy in the classroom, then most likely you are lazy on the ice.
#2 - Be a good citizen - be trustworthy, honorable and have integrity. Plus,
give back something to the community, volunteer your time.
#3 - To be a good hockey player is a lot of hard work, so work hard.
